   I think his comment about “the metacognition of thinking about what you’re going to say” is bang on. If you are forced to formalize what you are thinking about, it becomes a LOT more tangible.

   Thanks, Steve. So true, isn’t it. I find my journal entries get forgotten and I move on to the next idea, but when I am writing something I have to gather up what I have learned and craft it into something that, hopefully, makes sense.
